Buy Me Some Peanuts and a Cold Tube of Beer!

April 1. It’s circled on our calendar…and not because it’s April Fools’ Day. It’s Opening Day for the Major League Baseball season and Beer Tubes is ready! Just like Spring Training helps players get ready for the season, our most recent blog posts have included tips on cleaning your Beer Tubes to get them ready for your spring/summer bar business. Our table top draft beer dispensers are perfect for groups stopping by on the way to the game, or those that gather to watch it on television.

We can even customize our Baseball Base with your bar’s logo or promotional message. And if you sponsor an adult softball team, the Beer Tube makes a great “team trophy” that can be used throughout the season. This is an excellent example of the duality of the Beer Tube and its ability to not only be a functional table top beer dispenser, but also serve as a branding/promotional tool.

And if you’re lucky enough to attend a baseball game, don’t forget to take part in one of the game’s greatest traditions, joining the fans in singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at the end of the top of the 7th inning. And remember, beer sales typically end after the end of the 7th, so the song is also a good reminder that it’s your last chance to grab a beer and enjoy the last few innings (responsibly, of course).

Here’s an interesting fact courtesy of Baseball Almanac about Jack Norworth, the author of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.” Norworth wrote over 2,500 songs, including “Shine On, Harvest Moon”, and several other baseball songs, but none more famous than “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”

Enjoy the season, and if you’d like to share in the excitement of Opening Day, please send photos of your customers enjoying a cold Beer Tube to info@beertubes.com or post it to our Facebook page. We love to see fans celebrating with their beer tower!

Cheers!
