Soccer ball beverage dispenser earning fans on both sides of the bar as customers tout the convenience and fun factor of Beer Tubes, while Constellation Brands Beer Division utilizes a unique point-of-sale promotional item during the 2014 Soccer Championships for its Modelo Especial brand
June 2014 – The newest member of the Beer Tubes™ family is ready for soccer action. Constellation Brands Beer Division has teamed with the customized beverage dispenser company to produce a limited edition 2014 Soccer Beer Tube. The dispenser’s colorful base features the flags of participating countries in the 2014 event as panels of a soccer ball, along with the logo of Constellation’s Modelo Especial beer. Constellation is placing the special edition Tubes in bars and restaurants known for attracting soccer fans and, as a result, is increasing the Modelo brand awareness in conjunction with one of the most widely followed sporting events in the world. “We’re bringing the fun and excitement of the soccer tournament to the hometown bar or restaurant for fans who can’t make it to Brazil,” said Constellation’s National Director of Draft Jim Gray. “This is a great way to tie-in to this event on the local level.”
Beer Tubes keep beverages cold longer than traditional pitchers and are available with 64-oz., 100-oz. or 128-oz. tubes. The table-top beverage dispensers are portable and have a tap that allows customers to serve themselves at the table. Beer Tubes can also be fully customized with a logo or branding message making it a promotion-friendly, yet functional, dispenser.
"Our product really stands out, especially when our customers utilize our unique customization options," said Beer Tubes president David Stein. "Our Soccer Ball design for Constellation Brands Beer Division is a great example of the high level of customization that we‘re capable of producing. It‘s the most detailed design we’ve produced.”
All Beer Tubes have modular parts for low cost maintenance, the bases, taps and tubes are interchangeable with any design, and are naturally insulated to keep beverages cold longer utilizing Eastman Tritan™ co-polyester thermoplastic that is without bisphenol-A (BPA free) and the highest quality material used in the market. More than 25 base designs are available including patented sports-themed (football, basketball, hockey, soccer, etc.) and classic conic designs in a variety of finishes and colors.
The commercial-grade dispensers are easy to fill from the tap and simple to clean with a Tube cleaning protocol that includes a specially designed brush and custom-formulated cleaning powder. Tubes are also great for serving soft drinks, juices, margaritas and other mixed drinks. “The essence of the Tubes is that they are an attention-grabbing beverage dispenser,” said Jason Drum, Beer Tubes vice-president. “Beer companies and restaurants looking for a truly unique branding opportunity benefit from both the functional and promotional aspects of our product.”
